The Little Boy Giant sleeping in a
hammock in St Georges Hall, Liverpool this morning. A giant boy has been
spotted getting some well-earned shut eye before a busy weekend when
the Giants return to Liverpool for a farewell tour. The Little Boy Giant
was caught dozing in a huge hammock in the city's St Georges Hall which
is expected to draw crowds. The 20ft tall puppet will be woken from his
slumbers tomorrow where he will join the other Giants for a walk
through the city. The project is the brainchild of French street theatre
group Royal de Luxe who are making their third visit to the city to
celebrate 10 years since it was named European Capital of Culture.

US Defense Department personnel,
wearing protective suits, screen mail as it arrives at the Pentagon in
Washington, DC. Two or more packages delivered to the Pentagon this week
were suspected to contain the deadly poison ricin, an official said.
Produced by processing castor beans, ricin is lethal in minute doses if
swallowed, inhaled or injected and 6,000 times more potent than cyanide,
with no known antidote.
