A seal pup rescued from Abereiddy beach in Pembrokeshire is the
first to be found abandoned the summer and the warm weather is being
blamed. The "very thin" pup was saved by RSPCA officers saying it was
"unusually early" for the seals to be washed up. She was found alone and
was named Aye-Aye after a rare breed of lemur.

A one-week-old rhino calf born in front

time. The calf was rolling and frolicking in sand under the watchful eye
of doting mum, Malindi. With just 650 of these rhinos left on the
planet, this little guy is a very important new addition to the breeding
